About Me
My name is Megan and I’m a mommy, wife, daughter, sister and aunt. I’m 27 years old (still can’t believe this) and finally starting my first blog! From a young age I loved to write, especially poetry. If it was a writing assignment, I had it covered. Now math…that’s another story. After high school I went on to college where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Public Relations. As I proudly walked to receive my diploma, I was carrying another little human inside of me. I was only a couple of months along, but a mommy none the less. As months turned into years and 1 child turned into 2, I decided that being a mommy was the most important job I could ever have. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be a stay at home mommy (thank you hubby), and wouldn’t have it any other way!
I’m your typical stay at home mom. Most days I’m still rocking my PJs when the day is done. Some day’s I’m superwoman, and other days I’m barely holding it together woman. I love a clean house, but rarely experience it. I hate laundry, dishes, vacuuming and mopping…pretty much cleaning! I occasionally get brave enough to take my two children out by myself, but there are times when I’m pretty sure I’m growing roots in our house. It can be a jungle out there, or in here, or really anywhere with two small children! See, just your typical stay at home mommy.
Blogging is a way to combine everything that I love…family, writing, and photography. It is often through our experiences that we gain knowledge and I wish to share that with you. I hope that my posts can help and inspire you in some way. Just remember, life isn’t always pretty, but with each brushstroke we make on the canvas of our lives, we’re creating an irreplaceable masterpiece.
